Waterfall

There are various walking tracks in the wentworth falls area, with views of the mountain range, Princes rock, various waterfalls, the falls themselves and the Australian bush landscape. All the walks in this area can be started from the Wentworth falls picnic area and are all well maintained and with detailed postings.  So getting lost shouldn’t be a concern and there are plenty of opportunities to explore and even spend a whole day out there trying different tracks.

The wentworth falls lookout provides a view of the spectacular falls, the featured image for this walk was taken from this spot. It is easily accessible and will take you roughly 2 hours return if only going to this lookout. Otherwise you can follow the track to the top of the falls which then continues on to the national pass which will take you down to the bottom of the falls and will then follow the cliff line. This part of the track involves a lot of stairs as you descend down the side of the cliffs.
