Millaa Millaa Falls is one of the most iconic waterfall stops on the Atherton Tablelands, offering a short and easy walk to a spectacular rainforest waterfall. Located near the town of Millaa Millaa in Far North Queensland, this popular stop is part of the Waterfall Circuit, along with Zillie Falls and Ellinjaa Falls.

The walk to Millaa Millaa Falls is very short, making it suitable for most visitors looking for an easy waterfall walk without needing to commit to a longer hike. From the car park, it is only a brief walk down to the viewing and swimming area, where the falls drop beautifully into a clear rainforest pool below.

Surrounded by lush tropical greenery, tree ferns and rainforest, Millaa Millaa Falls is one of the most photographed waterfalls in Queensland. The falls are especially impressive after rain, when the water flows strongly over the rock face and into the pool beneath. On a warm day, many visitors stop here for a refreshing swim, although care should always be taken around wet rocks, deep water and slippery surfaces.

Millaa Millaa Falls is a great option for families, road trippers and anyone exploring the Atherton Tablelands. While the walk itself is short, the scenery makes it well worth the stop. It can also be combined with nearby Zillie Falls and Ellinjaa Falls for a scenic half-day drive through one of the most beautiful waterfall regions in Tropical North Queensland.

For visitors looking for an easy rainforest waterfall walk near Millaa Millaa, the Millaa Millaa Falls walk is a must-see. With simple access, a stunning plunge waterfall and a peaceful swimming hole, it is one of the best short nature stops in Far North Queensland.
