Details
This walk is found in the Morton National Park in the Shoalhaven region. Heading towards Nowra from Ulladulla the road to reach Granite falls will be found 24kms on the left. Look for an unsealed road called Twelve Mile Road. Follow this road for approximately 7kms before you will reach a turn off on your right for Tin mine road which will lead you to a carpark.
The walk to the falls is very easy and remains mostly flat the whole way and a cantilevered platform guides your way directly to the viewing platform of the falls. There are no visible tracks to get down to the bottom of these falls however it is possible. The platform however does provide you with nice views of the falls and the track itself has many information boards around about native animals and plants as well as information on the mining region in which it was used for. On the path you are able to see tunnels which have now been filled in which were once used for the mines. If you are in the area, it is well worth the stop off.
